The 3rd Session of the Self Portrait Project was celebrated in Buenos Aires city in June 1007. Alicia Candiani invited the photographer Anamaría McCarthy -USA/Peru- to co-direct this session. The Buenos Aires Session was joined by female artists from Spain , Australia , Argentina and Mexico. The participation of Anamaría, who´s work is based on the auto-biographical nude, enriched this session and ended on a paralel work: the Beehive Project. The participants worked during 15 days on theoric and technical meetings producing their self-portraits. The Project (that already have 20 pieces of Spanish artists realized during 2006 in the Fundación Pilar i Joan Miró at Palma de Mallorca and at the Universidad de Castilla La Mancha in Cuenca) enriched with 11 portraits more.
