ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE
INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM (A.R.I.P.)

The Artist in Residence International Program (A.R.I.P.) is Proyecto´ace's core. It offers short term residences (2 to 3 weeks) to work on individual or collaborative projects proposed by the artists themselves. The Program is intended to foster personal vision by offering professional artists a unique opportunity for working,expand their art and experience by making contact with Argentine and other international artists, while working in the dynamic environment that the city of Buenos Aires provides. Resident artists are given the option to exhibit the successful completion of their project in the Poliglota Room as the culmination of their residency.

The Artist in Residence program is co-sponsored by universities, art centers, foundations, corporations and governmental institutions in the artist's origin country.

Proyecto ´ace provides resident artists with a studio (including wi-fi internet connection), and a guest apartment in aloj’ace (utilities and room service included), The artist can work in the print studio, using the print equipment available in our workshops or in the associated ones, receiving technical and professional assistance and most of the materials needed for the production of the project. Once the project is realized, it will be installed and exhibited in the Políglota Room, (´ace project room/gallery), being introduced formally to the public through a reception.

The artist pays for travel expenses, health insurance and any other costs. We will provide a letter of invitation to accepted resident artists in order to apply for grants.

INTERNATIONAL VISITING ARTIST/
CURATOR/PROFESSOR PROGRAM

This program is committed to bringing distinguished artists and curators from around the country and the world to exhibit, teach, lecture or lead an international project in Buenos Aires. The primary mission of it is to educate and foster a greater understanding and appreciation of printmaking among contemporary art through discourse while gives Argentine artists and community rich opportunities to meet and work with leading professional artists and curators.
In this Program are included the Argentine artists that are invited to make an exhibition in the Dialogue Space (Mezzanine). In this space ´ace searches for projects that develop and promote a meaningful dialogue concerning print media with design.

INTERNATIONAL RESIDENCY PROGRAM FOR EMERGING ARTISTS

. SUB/30)

This is a competitive international residency program for emerging artists to create new work in printmaking realted with design/photography or new media. The SUB30 Program offers emerging artists or students less than 30 year old an opportunity to complete an important new body of work in collaboration with the assistance of our master printer and under Alicia Candiani's quality tutorial time. ´ace also provides an opportunity to display the work produced through an on-site exhibition at the Transverse Space.
